Entities exist all around the rural world. They influence our mood and our senses, pulling us into glades and leading us down new paths. They dwell in our peripheral vision, to be felt but not seen. Swamp being is an interpretation of such an entity, living in the swamps and bogs of Northern England, watching over all who visit and grow there.
